Geriatric Care

Recent upheavals in society have been felt by every one of us. But the impact has, perhaps, been the most on our Elderly. While transitioning into retirement, many Elderly people feel a sense of grief and loss, loneliness, depression etc. Furthermore, they might be experiencing chronic health ailments that restrict their mobility and therefore their sense of independence.

These factors might result in uncertainty and looming fears about the future. They might start asking some crucial questions: Is my life still worth living? Do my loved ones still need me?

Thankfully, it is possible for the Elderly to redefine themselves at this juncture. The need of the hour is a holistic approach to health and wellness – in other words, an approach that addresses the Mind-Body-Soul of the client at the same time. That’s what we do by combining the power of Ayurveda, Yoga and Counseling for our Elderly clients. The table below gives a brief idea of how we go about it.
